ベッカム、強行出場つらいよ！？医師の忠告を無視

携帯電話大手ボーダフォンが、イメージキャラクターのベッカムとの契約を更新しないと発表した。また、ベッカムがケガをおして試合に出場しているのは、ペレス会長がツアーの減収を危惧しているためだと、スペイン紙が批判している。

　ベッカムとボーダフォンの３年契約は７月１日に満了した。同社マリア・ベランカ広報は「ベッカムと合意の上で」契約更新しないと発表した。

　これにより、ベッカムは年間１４５万ユーロ（約１億９５７５万円）の収入を失うが、ペプシ、アディダス、ひげそりメーカーのジレット社との契約で年間６００万ユーロ（約８億１０００万円）を稼いでいるため、台所事情への影響は少なそう。

　一方、スペインのスポルト紙は、ペレス会長が医師の忠告を無視して、日本でベッカムを試合に出場させたと伝えた。

　２５日のヴェルディ戦前に医師がベッカムを診察し、試合に出さないようルシェンブルゴ監督に伝えた。監督がペレス会長に伝えたが、「最低でも４５分間はプレーさせろ」と命令されたという。

　レアルは今回の世界ツアーの収入を２２００万ユーロ（約２９億７０００万円）と見積もっている。しかし、ベッカムが出場しないと、１試合につきギャラから１６６万ユーロ（約２億２４１０万円）が減額される契約内容なのだという。

　ロサンゼルスギャラクシー戦でケガをしたベッカムは、中国での親善試合を欠場。そのためペレス会長はこれ以上の経済的ダメージを避けるため、強行出場させているようだ。
