渡辺会長「堀江氏の背後に武部幹事長」

渡辺会長は都内での会食後、報道陣の前で足を止めると１０分以上もまくしたてた。その中でライブドアの堀江社長が広島の買収に積極的に動いていることを明かした。

　「いまホリエモン（堀江社長）が広島の乗っ取りに必死だよ。政財界の大物が動いている」

　堀江社長は９月の衆院選で広島６区から出馬したが落選。これに渡辺会長は「選挙との絡み。ホリエモンを公認じゃなく出して負けた。自民党の某実力者にはその借りがある。某実力者が某財界の大物に（球団買収の協力を）頼んだ」と爆弾発言。「背後にいるのは幹事長の武部。公党の幹事長がプロ野球界に手を突っ込んでくるなんてことが許せるか。これは応仁の乱みたいなこった。戦国時代だよ、プロ野球の」と不快感を示した。その上で「ホリエモンは毎年（地元に）５億円出すという条件を出している。本当に危ないんだよ」と話した。

　また、オリックスが、阪神球団の株式上場を提案している村上ファンドに出資しており、野球協約で禁じる複数球団支配の状態であることについて「（オリックスの）宮内さんが出している村上ファンドが阪神に手をつけ、ＴＢＳに手をつけ、西武の株も買っておる。協約違反になるんだよ。解消してもらわないと困る」と語り、場合によっては球界への参加資格喪失の可能性を示唆した。

　「野球協約をこの際、ちゃんと整備する。今の解釈でハゲタカファンドは十分排除はできるけどね。私有財産権とかいろいろあるけれど、それならハゲタカ・リーグと通常の伝統的リーグと割ったらどうだ」と新リーグ構想までちらつかせた。

　≪宮内オーナー「キッチリ説明します」≫オリックスの宮内オーナーは、村上ファンドに４５％の大量出資と伝えられる点を、２１日の実行委員会で阪神との“二重支配”と指摘された問題について初めて言及。都内の自宅前で「それはキッチリ説明しますから。オーナー会議かどうかは分かりませんが」と話した。実行委員会の直後には小泉球団社長が「（阪神を）経営支配する認識は全くない」と話している。
